What does bar work at festivals entail?
If you like being centre of the show, you’ll love bar work. Often close to one of the stages, you’ll be serving drinks and helping customers enjoy some of the biggest acts on offer. Assisting the bar managers and wider event staff, as well as serving drinks and keeping the taps topped up, you’ll be responsible for keeping the bar clean and organised meaning we’re after people with a keen eye, friendly personality and hard-working attitude.
In return for your minimum of 2 x 8 hour shifts (depending on the event), you’ll be given plenty of free time to enjoy the music and soak up the atmosphere. We’ll usually give you your shifts when you arrive at the festival and can sometimes even accommodate for your favourite acts if you arrive early enough. You’ll need to be fun, friendly and enthusiastic, but your hard work will be rewarded. Think unforgettable experiences, lots of new friends and incredible experience – whichever festival takes your fancy!
