Summer 2026 is shaping up to be a big one for Festaff, and we are excited to announce a brand-new addition to our roster: Roundhay Festival in Leeds

Set in the beautiful surroundings of Roundhay Park, this brand-new event is bringing world-class artists, passionate music fans and an unforgettable outdoor atmosphere to one of the UK's most iconic city parks — and for the very first time, Festaff volunteers will bepart of the team helping bring it to life

What is Roundhay Festival?

American Express presents Roundhay Festival is a brand-new outdoor music festival taking place in Roundhay Park, Leeds. Produced by AEG Presents, it is a multi-day summer event bringing major headline artists to one of the largest city parks in Europe. This is the festival's first year, making it a genuinely exciting new addition to the UK's live music calendar.

Roundhay Festival 2026 takes place across two days: Friday 3 July and Saturday 4 July 2026.

Roundhay Festival is held at Roundhay Park, Leeds. The park is located in north-east Leeds, approximately 3 miles from Leeds city centre.

Who is headlining Roundhay Festival 2026?

Friday 3 July is headlined by Pitbull (Mr. Worldwide), with special guests Jason Derulo, Tinie Tempah, Lil Jon and more still to be announced. Saturday 4 July is headlined by Lewis Capaldi, with special guests Conan Gray and Jacob Alon.

What time does Roundhay Festival start and finish?

Gates open and closing times for Festival attendees will be confirmed closer to the event — check the official Roundhay Festival app for the latest timings. As a guide, Friday 3 July and Saturday 4 July are full festival days running into the evening, with headline sets expected late in the day.

At Roundhay Festival, you'll gain hands-on experience working at one of the most talked-about new events of the 2026 summer season, all while joining a welcoming volunteer community from across the UK.

You'll meet new people, build real event experience, and still get to soak up the atmosphere of a brand-new festival in one of Leeds's most iconic locations.

What to Expect as a Festaff Volunteer at Roundhay

Your volunteer shift will start at around 11am and finish at around 7pm (both times TBC, subject to gate opening times), giving you plenty of time to enjoy the big acts of the day. Your role will be scanning tickets to validate entry — a simple, enjoyable task. Breaks will be given throughout the day, and we will work with you on timing if there is an act you are desperate to catch. Your shift will finish in good time to get into position for the headline act.

As this is a one-day event, there is only a £10 non-refundable admin fee to pay — the additional deposit is not required.

Please note: this event is non-camping. There is no on-site parking and no food or drink allowance for volunteers.
