Required on site until: 10am on Monday 28 Aug 2017
Access: You will be given a wristband entitling you to access the festival site for your volunteer role.
Shifts required: Training, plus minimum 2 x 8 hour volunteer shifts or equivalent.
Shifts patterns: TBC on site. You will not be required to leave the festival site whilst not volunteering.
Roles available: Steward

Be a volunteer at CarFest! If you’ve not managed to secure your ticket to this year’s CarFest Festivals then, fear not, you can still get involved by joining our volunteering team and helping out at the event! Volunteering is a really great way to enjoy the festival, to be part of the team that helps stage the event and to understand how the event works.
This year we’re very pleased to announce that CarFest will be once again working in partnership with Festaff who will be organising our volunteering force. We’re looking for friendly, polite and honest individuals to join our team and become part of our fantastic festivals.
Roles available will include...
•Wristband Exchange Stewards
•Wristband Exchange Supervisor
•Crossing Point Steward
•Campsite Patrol Steward
•Campsite Info Point / Hub
•Disabled vehicle driver
•Caravan & Campervan Patrol
•Car Parking Steward
All roles will be allocated once on site depending on previous experience and preferred roles.
All volunteers needs to have...
•A friendly manner
•The ability to deal with the public in a polite and helpful way
•Maturity, honesty and reliability
•The capacity to be on their feet for much of the day
•The mindset to work to a good standard where and when required
•The ability to be a team player
You must be over 18 years of age to apply. Children are not able to volunteer and may not be added to your application. Please do not request bringing children with you!
Please note: once on site at CarFest you are required to be on volunteer shift where and when required by the Music Festival promoter and Festaff management. You will be advised as far as possible of volunteer shift patterns, etc. in advance of the music festival but we cannot be 100% accurate of all that is required until on site. Please bear this in mind.
You must plan and make your own way to and from the event. Free staff car park passes will be issued on arrival.
