Way back in 2006, the first Beat-Herder was hot. The land was baked like a biscuit and 1200 people came, enjoyed and partied really hard. There were fewer areas back then. Toil Trees was the epicentre of the throng. We had a tiny stage in the main field; there was Trailer Trash, there was Colin (Still the best Reggae tent of the Northern hemisphere), a witch tent, a naked sauna and couple of hippy food stalls. Since then...a colossal creation of some 16 additional areas for music, 14 bars, 40 + stalls, fairgrounds... the list goes on.
This year's line up is yet to be confirmed - excited! Who could it be???
Please note: once on site at Beat Herder you are required to be on volunteer shift where and when required by the Music Festival promoter and Festaff management. You will be advised as far as possible of volunteer shift patterns, etc. in advance of the music festival but we cannot be 100% accurate of all that is required until on site. Please bear this in mind.
All our volunteer roles on site are light customer facing tasks and you will be fully supported by your Supervisors and the Festaff team.
You must plan and make your own way to and from the event. Free staff car parking passes will be issued on arrival.
