Jobs at Music Festivals

The jobs at music festivals normally involve stewarding in the campsite, wristbanding and other general duties. Shift patterns are arranged to allow you to enjoy most of the festival. You will normally be required to work two shifts where and when required during the festival, and are expected to perform your duties to a good standard.

Please note, we do not offer specialist jobs at music festivals such as security, rigging, stage crew, electricians, plumbers etc. These jobs are handled by specialised companies.

1. Be 16 years of age or over.

3. Have an ability to deal with the public in a polite and helpful manner.
4. Be mature, honest and reliable.
5. Be in good physical condition as you will be on your feet much of the time.
6. Be prepared to work to a good standard where and when required.

Available Jobs at Music Festivals Include

Wristbanders Jobs at Music Festivals
Job Role Includes: Placing wristbands safely and securely on wrists of people entering the site in exchange for their ticket. Keeping your bands and ticket stubs secure, tallying your stubs and bands at the wristband exchange.

Stewards Jobs at Music Festivals
Job Role Includes: Directing campers to less congested areas of the site, keeping fire/access lanes clear, checking on site amenities, giving out advice and directions, checking & reporting the general mood of the customers, interacting with customers, help create a happy vibrant atmosphere, reporting any concerns or observations to supervisors.

General Duties: There are occasionally other job roles such as handing out leaflets, working the campervan entrance etc, but these will be explained in detail on the day if and when required.

Festaff is always looking to promote people from within our ranks. Every Member of the Festaff team started off wristbanding or stewarding.

What we look for in our supervisors is: Proven maturity, honesty, enthusiasm and reliability, demonstrated abilities to deal with staff and public in a fair and calm manner, good communication skills and of course the length of service you can provide.

Job Requirements

You will normally be required to work the minimum of two shifts per event. One day of your labour will be paid for by your ticket into the event and your secure place to camp (a package that is worth over £125 at most shows). This is normally the first day of your employment, but will be finalised at the staff meeting the evening prior to the event opening to the public.

Travel: You must provide and pay for your own travel to and from the event
